With accurate Borehole Yield Test results, the correct pump & motor can be selected. There are two benefits to this: it enables one to extract water from a borehole responsibly by only extracting what the borehole is able to supply thus safe-guarding the water source and secondly, it is cheaper to install the correct equipment the first time!

Borehole Tests Solutions (Pty) Ltd was started in 2014 as a result of a need for accurate borehole yield testing in Northern KwaZulu-Natal. The owner of the business has a conservation background during which time he gained a lot of hands-on experience in solving water problems on game reserves. This included assisting rural communities and NGO's with water projects.
Due to remoteness of boreholes and the cost of electricity, Solar solutions to water challenges have been a large part of the company's work. Many electrical installations that supply power to pumps are remote and only serve one purpose, thus the line fees, admin and rental on top of usage costs make the running of such installations very expensive. By installing quality Solar systems that can run on both Solar and Generator, the savings on the power utility bill makes the installation of a Solar system over a few years very cheap. In many cases, the Solar installation costs are recouped in under two years.
Borehole Tests Solutions (Pty) Ltd also represents the Grundfos agency in Eswatini / Swaziland on behalf of API Pumps KZN.
